Founded as Blueprint Software Corp
First customer: a Western Canada master-planned community developer who needed one place to track lots, builders, and approvals.
- 2010s
Maps + Develop Launched
Interactive maps embedded on builder sites become the wedge product; Develop grows into the command centre developers run on.
- 2020s
North American Expansion
US growth across FL, TX, and nationwide, with a trade-show presence at the industry’s major builder shows.
- Dec 2025
Renamed to LotWorks Inc
Brand consolidation under one name — blueprintcorp.com → lotworks.ca — carrying the same 20-year track record forward.
Why we built it
Built for One Category, on Purpose
LotWorks started in 2003 as Blueprint Software Corp, building for a single Western Canada master-planned community developer who needed one place to track lots, builders, and approvals — instead of a drawer full of spreadsheets and a PDF site plan that was wrong within days.
The interactive buyer map — embedded on builder sites so buyers could shop lots in real time — became the wedge. Develop grew into the command centre developers run their communities on. The next customers needed the same things, so we kept building for the category, not away from it.
Twenty years later the bet is unchanged: software built for master-planned communities specifically, not a generic platform adapted to fit. In December 2025 the company consolidated under one name — LotWorks — carrying the same track record forward.
